We have become too obsessed with the outside, so outwardly, so extrovert

We have become too obsessed with the outside. We have become so outwardly, so extrovert, that not only do we not explore the inside, we don’t believe that there is any inside. That’s what people say when they say there is no soul, no meaning. In fact they are saying there is no interiority to man. They are saying there is no interiority to existence. They are talking nonsense because the outer cannot exist without the inner, nor can the inner exist without the outer.

Turn in, search inside. Our true reality is there. And the wonder of wonders is that the moment you know your own treasure, the whole existence becomes infinitely more beautiful because it starts reflecting your richness. Existence is like a mirror: it reflects you. If you are rich, fulfilled, contented, it reflects your richness, fulfillment, contentment. If you are poor, ugly, depressed, it reflects that. It simply goes on echoing you. The same existence becomes hell for a few people and becomes a paradise for a few other people. It all depends on you.

The whole magic is in the art of meditation.

Live simply. Walk humbly. Love genuinely.

If wealth is the secret to happiness, then the rich should be dancing on the streets. But only poor kids do that. If power ensures security, then officials should walk unguarded. But those who live simple sleep soundly. If beauty and fame bring ideal relationships, then celebrities should have the best marriages. But it’s not here. Simplicity leads the world. Live simply. Walk humbly. Love genuinely.

Ignorance

You know everything about the world, but you do not know anything about yourself. This is a ridiculous way to live. – Sadhguru

Love of oneself

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”. – Charlie Chaplin

The greatest secret of life is that life is a gift

Life is in living. It is not a thing, it is a process. There is no way to attain to life except by living it, except by being alive, by flowing, streaming with it. Life is not somewhere waiting for you, it is happening in you. It is not in the future as a goal to be arrived at, it is here, is now, this very moment — in your breathing, circulating in your blood, beating in your heart.
